FROSTival Downtown Gallery Hop

Gather your friends together for a winter evening of gallery hopping in downtown Fredericton. 

View the latest exhibitions, meet the artists and gallery owners and directors and enjoy light refreshments and music.

Participating galleries include Gallery 78, Beaverbrook Art Gallery, Artisan District, NBCCD's George Fry Gallery, Gallery on Queen , the Charlotte Street Arts Centre (Charlotte Glencross Gallery, Penny Gallery, and Connexion arc.) and the "It's Hip to be Square" art show at the Cap.

Art Gallery activations:

 Gallery 78 :

• Take part in an art appreciation tour on the hour (5pm/6pm/7pm)
• Kids can create a valentine card of their own to take home!
• Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies

 Beaverbrook Art Gallery:

• Enjoy live music in the new pavilion
• Guided tour at 6:30pm

 Artisan District:

• Artist Maria Guevara (Maru Pottery) will provide a demo of her work; put your name in a draw for a chance to win a Maru Pottery Mug!
• Enjoy a hot after dinner drink, “Amaretti Affogato” (non alcoholic)

 NBCCD’s George Fry Gallery :

• Enjoy a photography and videography demo
• Music and treats available

Gallery on Queen:

• Enjoy live music and painting
• Treats and punch will be available on their “high tea” table
• Look for a special FROSTival themed exhibit!

Charlotte Street Arts Centre:

• A local artist will talk about their work and current exhibition.

 It’s Hip to be Square Art Show :

• Join local and emerging artists as they showcase square shaped works of all sizes!
• Enjoy refreshments, drinks and live painting (This is a licensed event).
