Explore the New Brunswick Wilderness at Mactaquac Provincial Park with a variety of family friendly activities throughout FROSTival! 

Skating Pond
Skate with a breath of fresh air on the outdoor ponds open from 8am-9pm. Whether you are taking a leisurely skate or want to play hockey/sled hockey, we have room for you! This daily event is free and does not require skaters to register. 

Take some snowshoes out for a trek through the woods of Mactaquac Provincial Park starting from the lodge. Snowshoes are available to use for free and are first come, first served. Available between 8am-9pm. 

Cross-Country Skis
Explore Mactaquac's woodland on a pair on cross-country skis. The equipment is available at the park's lodge, free of charge, between 8am-9pm.

Fat Bike Rental
Discover a new trail on a winter ride through one of thirteen trails at Mactaquac Provincial Park. Fat bikes are available by reservation only. Book by calling Mactaquac Provincial Park at (506)363-4747. 

10am to 4pm on weekdays
9am to 5pm on weekends

$25 for 2 hours
$40 for 4 hours
$60 for full day

Tubing Rental
For a comfortable and wild experience on the sledding hill, rent a tube at Mactaquac Provincial Park. HELMETS ARE NOT PROVIDED BUT ARE MANDATORY. No bookings in advance. First come first served. 

2hr bookings $10

10am to 4pm on weekdays
9am to 5pm on weekends

Sledding Hill
Bring your own sled and enjoy a ride down the hill towards the Wolastoq river. Helmets are encouraged as the track is known to be quite fast. No reservation required or fees associated with this activity. 

Forrest Skate
Bring your skates and enjoy an adventure under the trees through the new forest skate trails at Mactaquac Provincial Park. The trails are open to the public between 8am and 9pm daily. This activity is free of charge and does not require any reservations.
